Hi,

I was getting the same error (don't know if you still are) but for any 1 who is, this should help:

go in to the Spliter cell .ini file and change the follwing:

WindowedViewportX=640
WindowedViewportY=480

to what ever yourdesktop resolution is.

I personally found I had to change the following to:

FullscreenViewportX=640
FullscreenViewportY=480

(to what ever yourdesktop resolution is.)

change the line in splintercell.ini saying to start the game in Fullscreen to false under [WinDrv.WindowsClient] You can maximize it later. Doing this fixed the problem for me.

It’s a good game I got it on my Xbox and I haven’t been off it all day. But the buttons are hard so I might by it for P.C.

Ya know I have the same probem with the controls for those kinda games on a console. I rented Red Faction 2 for the ps2 and find it very hard to control. It is so much easier to play those kinda games with a pc. Maybe they should make a touch pad on a console controler

I'm not really in2 all the different kind of consoles out there, but it strikes me as kinda odd, that u can't play console games with a mouse... I mean FPS r all about movin freely in the game, so it must b a BIG disadvantage when playin this kind of genre on consoles...

Has there been ne rumours about ne of the console companys implementin a sort of mouse and keyboard in future releases of their products?

I hope I don't sound like a complete noob... lol

There are some console-mouses on the market already:




But what good do they do without a proper keyboard, eh?

At leaset, I've never seen a console-keyboard
