Where is Dungeon Lords Demo??

I just don't get it. First they announce 1 week before "we are releasing the demo on 1st September" then, they miss that date and simply say "coming in september.."
Well there is only a few days left in September and I want to know where it is! I also want to know why they bothered saying it was coming in a week (back in late August) when it was obvoiusly another month away from completion??

Hmmm, DreamCatcher Games have just announced a public beta - 1 month after they announce a demo is out in a week? Something weird is going on... They probably showed the demo to their publisher in a very buggy and incomplete state? what do you guys think?
