Warez seen good for developers?

But Dennis think about this. I go to school and I don't get much money every month and I can't get a work for I have to study. And then these games are so f**king expensive. Manhunt cost 599 swedish kronor and that's more than 60$. How the f**k am i'm gonna afford that. I buy some games, All the ones that I think will rock. But when I get a job I will buy more games! But for now I can't afford that. I will probably download games for a long time but less as the time goes and I earn more money. I did like Kami. I downloaded Doom 3 same day that it came out on the net but I had allready preboked it like 2 months before that and I bought it.

Valve has alienated many of its fans with the lame 'code stolen routine' I cannot believe that they didn't have greater security to prevent a possible theft? Why of why would anyone steal some code that in its infancy would be incomplete and difficult to reverse engineer. Doom 3 was leaked at an early stage but this didn't prevent the game from being completed in a reasonable time. I have this horribly gut feeling that HL2 won't appear until next year because of bugs and further testing.

I think that Valve should be punished by the consumer, I only hope there will be a title that is so much better than HL2 when it is released that HL2 goes to budget within a few weeks. The gaming communty should be treated with respect not contempt.

If HL2 is going to be released in November why is there not a demo?? I tell you why because HL2 is vapourware like DNF just keep believing the hype but untill I can actually play at least some of the game I'm switching off

I encourage all of us to do the same, don't be sucked in by the machine, switch off forget, :thumbup: about HL2, bury Valve....

and the leaked D3 was playable...HL2 is till today not playable....

doom 3 demo was released a month after the game was released worldwide, just like most games, and who cares about demo`s, they fill up yur registry with junk, with corporate uninstallers which are always crap, especially msi`s, windows/installer/ folder is usually full up with previous install`s and files that have`nt been deleted

O really, it doesn’t look like it, I just see that prices are going up and check itermans link. As I said before I don’t sit all day in front of a computer and I am not a lazy f**k. I went everywhere and couldn’t get a job, I worked a lot in summer but I cant work any other season because the guy leaves.
