No really they are pretty on target with all of their reviews. I tend to agree with about 90 percent of them.

96 percent. HL1, if I'm remembering right, had a 97...

actually PC Gamer is known to give its exclusive test an extra score boost....so I wait till I read it from a neutral review. I still would like to see the PC Gamer review thou. SEND IT TO ME.

PCG isn't the only ones who boost scores...

Worthplaying, Gamer's Hell, so forth give maybe 1-2 more points if it's a beta/was really fast/really nice PR people...

Seen the Unreal 3 engine? Now there's something to hype about!
Valve brainwashed me too, but that was a year ago, the past year
showed me the S in source stands for SUCKKY :P

And as for PCG, ow well, they just had to rate it that high!

The GH part I find a little offensive!! I have no reason to believe that GH rates one game higher than another because they got a preview edition of it! Maybe the magazines do and maybe some sites, but GH? I find it hard to believe

So basically you're excited about games that are going to come out but once they're close to coming out you say they're crap and start salivating over screens of a game that won't come out for another year, sounds like a good plan.
