HL2 worth the wait? - Page 2

Someone needs to create a title for the forum trolls that do nothing but bash software even before it's released for the sake of bashing.
Sort of the "anti-fanboy".

Anyway, I reserve my opinions on Half Life2 until I actually PLAY the game. I don't have any vested interest in the games' success or failure and if it sucks, I'll be disappointed but it certainly won't be the end of the world. Hell, I get my copy of HL2 for free since it came with my ATI videocard so it's not like I'm out the $$$ for it.

Bashing a game because of supposed "lies" when the game still isn't released is just plain stupid. If you bought the game after release and found out that it said *ON THE BOX* "feature XXX is in the game!" (and it wasn't) then you have every right to be pissed off.
If you base your opinion of "lies" on random mumblings by beta-testers, warez kids who stole the pre-release or the developer trying to hype up their product in early development then you really need to have your head examined.

I agree with Stiofain. Where is the next Perfect Dark or Goldeneye? Hopefully GoldenEye: Rogue Agent will turn out to be a great game.

I agree with Kami. I'm saving for that. 5 thousand dollars or so last I heard. Weightlessness is better than any videogame.

It took them 3241years just to update CS to CS:S...and not much of an update there. So anyone really believes that they actually made a game out of the junk pieces they got half a year ago till end of this year? get real...got milk...
