I'm just curious to know, as I don't know much outside FPS's on a PC, but what is the best second world war RTS game you can get?

Some of the newer WW2 RTS that came out (or are coming out) seem okay (at least from their demos).
Codename Panzers Axis and Allies to name a few. My vote for best RTS of all time still has to be Total Annihilation. The lead designer of TA is working on a sequel, hopefullly it's as good as the original.

Soldiers: Heroes of WW2 beats everything so far... it's like an RTS with RPG/Squad elements.. try the demo
Blitzkrieg if you want a sweet RTS that has realism. DO NOT touch Axis and Allies (beta tested it) it's like Rise of Nations but without the fun. DO NOT touch Codename: Panzers because it's short, unrealistic, mindless, and not as detailed as Blitzkrieg (although it is in 3d, it's not that big of a deal, gameplay suffers largely) DO TOUCH Blitzkrieg 2 Twice the goodness as one hehe (not out yet) DO TOUCH Close Combat (Sorta turnbased..but it really beats alot of the competition! plus it's a bargain bin finder!) |

I dont know any world war 2 RTS titles, but i know that Generals kicks ass! Command and Conquer Generals is probs. the best title ive ever played.
