Halo 2 Reviewed

Sweet I get to be the first one to post this. Just got my December edition of OXM in the mail, and all over it it's saying it has a Halo 2 review. It's uhhhhh 16 pages long, and the good stuff is as follows:

Graphics: Spectacular scenes, deep textures, powerful use of bloom effects for impact.
Immersion: Unless nature calls, my guess is that you'll be glued to the screen from start to finish without a break. Now that's immersive!
Sound: The ambient effects are incredible in 5.1, but the underlying score adds a layer of intensity to every scene that's simply incredible. The soundtrack album will win awards, and will hopefully transcend the videogame industry into bigger mainstream appreciation.
Design: Perfectly paced initially, the story gets a little rushed, and you definitely will feel like you've played bits before...only it never looked or sounded this good, or had so many options.

+ Can't rave enough about the music.
+ Value packed with multiplayer.
+ Incredible attention to detail.

? Any chance we'll get any single player downloadable content? That'd be sweet but highly unlikely.

damn it looks like it s gonna kick ass!! i wish it was coming out on pc
but wait nov.9 right, HL2 will be out like 5-6 days after, so i'll be alright i'm sure...

and HL2 and Halo 2 will be two completely different experiences. Half life 2 will just have... better multiplayer and longevity. I don't like how Live is laid out on Xbox actually. Wish they'd give you a big server list like on PC that you could scroll and sort by ping and such. hmm.

You can you freaking nub. Its just that some games don't have that feature, just like some pc games that dont either.

Oh.... well I played Mech Assault, midtown madness3, crimson skies, ghost recon, SC:PT, ummm and the beta :P and never saw any. what games?

just a uhh little note guys... Halo2 will have NO lan or Multiplayer Coop. It was confirmed today.

lol you're funny Sepht. LAN is confirmed as yes (they do it all the time in the OXM review), Co-op I haven't heard about, although there definitely won't be more than 2 player co-op OR over live co-op for sure. I don't really care.

why DO people care so much about co-op these days. Not saying that I hear it from you guys, but from other places people are mad if there's no co-op. I mean, I'd much rather kill you than be your friend in a game.
