I played their beta during E3, it was open for a few days.
Even at that time the game looked really polished and was fun. I don't think i'll play the retail version even though I'm a MMPOG fan, I just think GW will be filled with too many D00d wannabies and kids, plus I didn't find I ever got attached to my character, for whatever reason I really didn't give a damn about what happened in terms of character development. GW will be a good game though, for some people anyway. I'm looking forward more to WoW and Wish, I've beta'd both and thought both had a lot to offer.

I'll test it out. Have already played the turorial (?) but it's freaking me out that the content only loads with about 8-20 kbyte/s. :nxs:
Edit: After 3 hours of Guild Wars I'm very very excited. Tis just fits all my needs for a good online rpg. :francesco: But does any of you know what's up with their servers? I hardly can reach 20 kbytes donwstream, most of the time it's sticking by somewhat 8. And I have a 2mbit connection.  That's really annoying.Are there any european servers up? Or just US? Or even just Korea Servers? Bit confused on it.

I would think it's slow because their servers are probably taking a serious beating. I know a LOT of people in on playing GW while it's open so I'd imagine their servers are getting hammered by people trying to get a taste of the game.

ya lol like every 15-20 mins seems it sais that a new update was avalable, but after u get thow DLing the map parts, its very fun :P

GW rocks, i've been playing it all day! it sure is addicting. even more fun if you play with friends. well i hope you're all enjoying it as much as i am! yeah the servers were a bit slow earlier, things seem to be picking up now though. the updates are a tad bit annoying but it's totally worth it, no complaints here! the only thing that made me mad was i played a quest for like an hour and i beat it and then after beating it, upon the loading screen to take me back to town it dropped me and i lost my progress. not just progress in the game, but i lost any changes made to my char since starting the mission.. so beware of that.
