Over at www.WhUtDuFuK.com they have posted a nice little guide on how to make a backup of your Half-Life 2 Cache files in Steam. The guide includes full details on how to back up the correct files and even how to make the labels.
then you only have to install the steam application which is really easy to do, i mean this good for the ppl who already have 1 of the packages

Hello
Well i bought the game Spellforce, after playing the demo, but when i installed the game that i bought from a games shop the game damaged my FAT tables on my hard disk, i lost all my games and programs, and it was a file called SHFOLDER.DLL this file it used to unpack the game to the directory on your hard disk, but since that file was of a version that is not certified to run on windows xp or windows 2000, then i lost everything, i will nver forgive that company, and i will never buy any of there games again, i took the game back to the shop and said the game is faulty and got a refund, and now before installing anything on my computer i take every precaution, like i have my firewall to block anything that is not trusted and i have not accepted.
I don't mind if the game has problems like crashing or not working like it should when playing, but things that do damage to the storage on your hard disk are not tolarated.
Regards
Andrew
