GTA SAN laggy in areas?

i just brought gta san, and its a great game , but i find it very laggy in areas , u know like pretty slow, i went under one bridge and was surprized by the lag and a part of town with a green wall was pretty laggy.

the others gta dont lag like this.

do i need to reset my laser or something. and my ps2 is a older model

nope.

the game runs like that at times.

ive heard that it is a main issue with the game ..... but mine hasnt experienced that yet ..... but it has crashed once and the audio crashed once

It has happend to me when im speeding very fast, and i have to stop to get it to load
the meshes and details

hang on yeah its happened to me ..... i once went speeding straight into a wall becuase it showed up as the road carrying on.......i really like the speeding effect

It isnÂ´t the game. ItÂ´s the console. The game is to good for the hardware. The Xbox will make it nice. But then again Pc is the only right choise.

That's it, the Ps2 has probably seen it's last GTA.

This problem will definately not be in the Xbox version

imagine if all gta's had always been intended 4 p.c how nice they'd be! gta's only downfalls have been from the console they've been running it on, draw distance and laggyness, get in a car and guarantee almost every other car will be the same syndrome etc all because of the ps2's pussyness
