Strategies folks!

The human pistol. Maybe it hasnt in multiplayer, but in single player, yeah it has.

Dual pistols in multiplayer is fricking sweet though. I'm not sure how good they are damage wise, but jesus do I look cool

i like the dual SMG or the dual Brute Plasma Pistol because of the damge you can give out with them.

I really wanted dual wielding swords too...would have been awesome. My personally favorite is the double SMGs. But I think the most powerful combo is the plasma rifle with the SMG. At least thats always what I die facing...

Dual needlers is pretty devastating, and dual plasma rifles is nothing to sneeze at either.

When dual wielding though, I like to fire only one gun at a time, then let rip with the other while it is reloading or recharging. I only shoot both at once if I'm low on shield.

Also, an interesting trick is to hold a plasma pistol in one hand and anything else (besides the needler) in the other. Charge that baby up and let 'em have it with the other once the shields are down.

In any case, it seemed to me that the edge seems to go towards Covenant weapons--at least when dual wielding anyway.

the best combo i have found is smg and pistol. Another good combo is use a single plasma pistol and have the battle rifle as a backup weapon. if you connect with the plasma pistol one head shot from the battle rifle kills the opponent. i like the covenent sniper better because it has a larger recticle than the human sniper, so if someone comes up on you while you r sniping, it is easier to shoot them with it. also if you treat the sniper rifle like a shotgun in upclose battles (shoot and then melee) it is a good strategy also... just my .02.

It's that exact stategy that has turned me into a murderous fiend in multi-player as well as single player. Two SMGs make me feel invincable. Death comes in clips.
