New Censoring rules

can you please elaborate what you mean by bypassing teh filters?

Question.. so does that mean no just censoring the letters(ie. s*pht)(if sepht were a swear)? do we have to allow it to change it(to sandpaper.. oy)? or do u mean like putting spaces between the letters? (ie. i n t e r m a n ) (say if interman was a swear)

Just want to get an understanding for the rules.

well you aren't allowed to bypass the filter in anyway. only bypass that will be allowed is ***** five stars not 4 or 6 but 5 that way no one knows what you are saying.

seems kind of harsh.

Make the filter just edit it out to 5 stars. People catch on quickly.

The forum censors are in place because advertisers don't like seeing a lot of filth in the discussions about their games.

There is absolutely no reason to have offensive language on these forums. Children use them. Just type what you want to say and let the filter do it's work. That way you won't have any problems.

hey bucky is the word "funking" a swear word? because you just gave me a warning a little while ago for saying that i think you misread what i wrote man.....it was in that thread that mikeeeeegeeee started about his xbox laser being dirty.

If you are putting in a word that is one letter off a swear word, and it's in the context of swearing, then you are better off just to type in what you really want to say and let the filter catch it. If we feel that you are bypassing the filter, you will take a hit for it.

and why is there no option so everyone can choose for themself to have filters on or not...that way everyone is happy...it's gonna be like Gamershell made the first step toward world peace and such....

You're really pushing it arguing with ANY admin... and trying to put admins against each other is even worse... Stop it or I'll ip-ban you myself (with pleasure too).
