"z" key in fifa 2005

wat does "z" button do in dat game?when i push on it when the ball with my players, 1 2 3 numbers seems but nothing changes else?i expected dat players do some runs at dat time but no...wat does dat button do?

Most used for long runs or precise passes. Press "Z" again to switch between players and press "A" to pass them. Press "Q" to make the players run.
This feature is nice! It looks great when making several in a row, and the last man shooting!

U BOTH ARE WRONG !

First Use the "Z" key to select a player.
press it repeatedly to select 2 & 3 .
At this time u lose the control of the player with the ball !
Then again if u press "Z" u get back the control of the player.
after selecting the player by pressing "Z" press "Shift" key and the direction key to make the selected player to run in that direction.
Then press "A" key to LOB the ball to the running player !
