its not just me? seriously? I posted something like this just yesterday.. it made me sick... holy teahat! It was just near the intro of raven, no other part.. I played it for about an hour or maybe a bit more and I was just really sick..
I played it for over 6 hours today, strait, and I didn't feel bad at all... interesting
I was nauseous.. interesting
Also.. I hadn't eaten for like 5 hours.. and I wasn't dizzy.. just nauseous.. and after I stoped playing, laid down and watched some TV for about 30 min.. I wasn't feeling sick anymore..

I don't have any motion sickness.. I can only think of 2 occasions.. both years ago. once after a drive from shopping.. I got home and threw up immediatly.. only happened once... about 6 years ago
Another time I was takign a plane from Israel to San Fransisco, with a stopover in London.. after the 5 hour flight from Telaviv to heathrow.. my stomach started to hurt and I threw up over a dozen times on the 12 hour flight from london to SFO. About 8 years ago

yeah i was reading somewhere that some guy had a seizure from playing half life 2.....could be bs i'm not sure.....if its true VU should of put a warning on the box...so if you do feel sick and what not from playing this game maybe you should stop, because people can have seizures outta no where, it is possible, even if they don't have a history of it..to many flashing lights and what not, can mess you up.....lol

Most games have it writen on the first or last page(with very small fonts). Even a game that contains of a black screen with white dots moving in it has it writen on the instruction manual.

I experienced some dizziness but nothing too serious. I read on the Steam forums that there is something Valve or Vivendi wrote in the manual, I guess, regarding this. They recommend to play for an hour and then taking a break. Actually this is suggested when playing most games but not many people follow this advice.
The Steam forums also mention Field of View or FOV. To expand the FOV in HL2 type the following in your console: sv_cheats 1, enter, fov 90, enter. This should help with the nausea and dizziness. I tried it and it worked or maybe it is all in my head lol.

If you wear headphones when playing and they are quite loud, this can upset the fluid in your ears that keeps you balanced.
This would make you feel sick
