My Response to Sepht's PM

I just thought I should share this with you peeps.

3. Chat logs, IM logs, PM logs, anything that is held between one or a group of people outside of the GH forums will not be allowed to be posted on the forums with or without consent. Disclosing information from private meetings could lead to leaked information that you would have otherwise wanted to keep secret.

The post will be deleted and poster warned or worse depending on the content of the post. Following infractions will be met by stiffer penalties.

Why? Can we not handle a little bit of what is mentioned in my post. I mean come on. I am just having a discussion with Sepht and I wanted to share with you all what I wrote. My intention is not to flame Sepht. I just wanted to make it known that I think he constantly disses Half-Life 2 and has consistently dissed Half-Life 2 in the past. He has the right to his own opinions but it gets aggravating when most of his posts have some sort of negative connotation and this is just my way of venting my frustation. No biggie.

basically Ill show u what its a response to.

I never "dissed" HL2. I doubted it. The game ain't out, u can't prove that, it could change, and the developer has some bad expirances in stability.. and since its based on steam.. u know how people feel about that, etc.

What I said about HL2 before it was out is useless. A lot of what I pushed was right. YOu can't judge it, it is going to have common scripting, it will be Goty, etc. Some things were just their to show u can't judge it before its out.

I hardly think its fair to compare what I said before the game to what I said once its out. What I said since its been out is basically: its awsome.. and has parts with more action then any game to come before it.

Yet.. as always.. your going to see people expose the part where I say parts of it are more dull then FarCry or DOom3. like it matters.

I play devil's advoacate, the negative connotation is there and it comes with the territory. However.. I think I should post what this was about.

Let me take care of it.. and gimme a few min.. its not easy to explain.
