Stuck in HL2, please help...

...I'm completely stuck.

I just got my buggy and everything is going fine, I'm shooting them Antlions and driving really fast. But where am I supposed to go? I drive up a hill and there is a jump there (over a razed bridge) but my buggy can't make it. I've tried getting all the speed I can find. I even tried backing out on the wood-bridge in the other end of the hill. I can't seem to get enough speed. Please help. :thumbup:

what about using the nitros?

How about this then (as in I'm stuck again): After you get the pheromones from the female antlion you go visit the camp in the mountain and there's a guy in the far reaches of the camp that says you should be on your way and with an army of antlions you should be ok. Then what? He stands around by some kind of generator and the whole place is walled in by either rock or fences. There's a door in the fence but I can't open it. I managed to climb over the fence once but then I just find this contrapment with two gigant logs blocking my way and it seems it is powered by the generator i mentioned earlier. What is the right thing to do here? I get the feeling that the way I clmb the fences isn't really right since I can't go any further after that.

Yu probably figured it out by now, but you need the alien thingy to open the gate in the fence and the giant logs after yu've chucked a few pheremone balls around! The guy says stuff but he's no help, hehe.

I really have no idea what to do. I stand on the wrong side of the fence throwing pheromone balls down into the sand but nothing happens. I climb the fence (stack a pile of wooden boxes) and throw a bunch of balls once i'm down on the groudn but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Hmm, after you defeat that giant sand alien boss type thing, a Vortigaunt (green red-eyed friendly alien) should come out and cut some pheremone balls out of it. Yu follow that Vortigaunt into the camp and he opens the gate for you, then commences a pheremone ball training session for you, before lifting the logs out of the way. Where did your Vortigaunt mate go after the boss? He's the key...

Ah! He stops att the entrance to the camp. He doesn't mvoe from there....
