CS:S weapons on HL2 single?

Hey guys, first post here.
Wondering if any of you know whether or not it may be possible to use
Counter Strike Source weapons with the single player version of Half Life 2.
I would like nothing more than to line up a 200 yard head shot with the Magnum
sniper rifle, or clearing Nova Prospekt with the UMP.

Did they mod this for HL 1? Seems like a highly desireable ability.

I realize that the weapon objects and animations are probably
compiled into the CS:S 'materials' file. Just wondering. HL2 is a badass game
BTW especially tossing the combine soldiers around like ragdolls in the citadel.

Hello there and HELL!!!

I think that is a good idea and you should take it far, submit it to some modding teams...meanwhile this needs to be moved to the HL2 or CS:S forums!
