so ive just got to the other side of the train bridge where i come to some type of control room, there is a loose plug on a cable which i can pick up, is there a way of plugging it in, or is it there just for laughs

in order to deactivate any of the force fields, you must pull the plug out near it. if there isn't a plug near the one you think you need to get through, then you probably need to take another way around.

yup, try usein a nade or the gravity gun to unplug the buggers

ta for your help guys,
didnt realise there was a tunnel i missed and that you cant deactivate the forcefields on the track. Although i did have great fun going back and forth across the bridge several times. cheers
