Hey guys, I am thinking about getting a 19" LCD for Christmas.
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-014-063&depa=1 That is the one that I have my eye on. Do you think it would do ok for gaming? |

Some time back I read that LCD monitors weren't capable of refreshing fast enough to keep up FPS shooters.
Has this problem been resolved?

Yes, I have a BenQ, too. But the 937s. The specs for that are a bit better (brightness, ..) but I can recommend this one for gaming.
I have a dead subpixel though (it's always red). But I can live with that as I hardly see it on white and in Games it's gone. Thumbsup for BenQ.

19s are nice but pricey for the faster response times. Im happy with my 17" Samsung 712n, 12 millsec response time, 1280x1024 res. I was always hesitant to give up my 19" Viewsonic (crt), but glad I finally did for this LCD.
