I can feel the love in here!! :P
Let me ask a qestion: Do you think the creators of the fastest selling and already profitable game are going to inconvenience themselves and draw work away from HL3 to bring out a demo? The answer is NO! Why bother, the reviews and the hype speak for themselves. You can download the game from STEAM with a quick flick of a plastic friend. But i wanna boast now...... I won HL2 in 14 hours! My Sexy Rig: P4 3.0Ghz and HT w/800MHz FSB 2 x 512Mb DDR3200 w/Dual Channel Enabled Radeon X800XT PE Western Digital Raptor 74Gb @ 10,000 RPM and 8Mb Cache Audigy 2 ZS w/6.1 Surround Sound Speakers. Game Settings: All VERY HIGH at 1280 x 960 @ 75Hz FSAA 4x and AF 16x FPS = A range of 50 - 120 FPS OH YEAH!! THIS GAME RULEZ!! |

If I recall correctly, the HL: uplink demo was released way after the release of the game, I thought Half-Life: Day 1 was the real demo. Or am I wrong? Anyway, that demo was what convinced me to buy the game, it was like 3 or 4 hours of gameplay!

Yeah. oddly I got that motion sickness too with the first HL on PS2. But I just wanted a demo to determine how well it would run on my system spec. I've a broken wrist at the moment, so I can't be assed with typing much more....P4 2.7 768mb ram
geforce 5200 128mb. Anyone got a clue when dod:s will be about?

i run hl2 on a 1.7GHz Athlon XP, 128MB GeForce 4 Ti4200, and 640MB ram at 800x600 everything high, simple reflections, no AA/AF. runs really good (25-60fps) so itll run better than that on urs. i hope dod:s is soon, this engine is perfect for it.

I've had one problem with steam. when I wanted to use my brothers cd-key to my steam account to play cs, it said that cd-key already in use(quite natural actually). then I e-mailde to valve or somwhere that the accounts where on the same computer. then it went away :blow:
