HL2 What a shame!

[color=blue] :bangin: [font=Times][size=1]WTF happened to Half Life 2?
Did some one steal the story line along with the source code?
Does anyone else feel like a rat in a maze? How about the word LINEAR sound about right! Far Cry = Freedom...
Did anyone mind the 1-2 hours of load times before you even see the game play?
Did anyone mind exsposing their game computer to viruses, worms and other internet crap?
How about that ending...WTF!!
Graphics doesn't make a great game, Doom3's graphics were so superior!!
A more realistic rating for this game 80, not 98 PCG!

They should have claimed another theft of source code and worked another year fixing HL2..

HL 2 is the best game i ever played. Compared to doom3 is 100% better.

Doom3 is all about dark stupid mazes and stupid enemies who don't have any intelligence they just run towards you. (such a stupid game)

And about Far Cry its a good game but the story is spoiled with monsters. And the graphics of effects isn't so beautiful but the enviroment is more beautiful the best thing about Far Cry is that it has large maps.

But HL2 beats them all first because of the STORY second by graphic effects third thing about gameplay.

HL 2 has the best gameplay and story.

erm, i dont want to get into all this, but i do want to comment on the doom3 looks better and teahat.

Yes Doom3 did use WAY more bumpmapping and other eye candy, but sandpaper its nice to have a game running smooth on lower end machines as well, ALSO because the counterstrike:Source will probably take over all counterstrike games from people (and some will have lower end machines) and many upcomming mods.

As i understand it, Valve COULD have used more eyecandy in the game, but they have lowered the amount so that the game will run smooth on all machines.

And doom3 needed a sandpapering NASA machine to let it run smooth.

I think that the game itself is fantastically entertaining at certain points, however I was more taken back with farcry than this, especially at the end!

Id like to Argue, this... I think HL2's Graphics compared to FarCrys.... HL2 gets... a 8/10 because... its just a little bit too bland... and I find Farcrys much more crisper.... FarCry gets a 9.5/10 ... HL2 uses a bunch of shaders and stuff... as for farcry.. they dont, and they made sure that every little detail was included... to give the sharpest image... i could go on and on, but why rant? when im gona get flammed to hell for this... Ignorant HL2 Fanboys... and dont get me wrong.. i liked Half life 2 and all it just, plain and simple, dose not have the best graphics.. im sorry.. it just dosent..

And as Far as the Gameplay and Story line? wtf are you on? my god... most people that are HL2 Fanboys, didnt even get the Story line, they were left dazed and Confused... Fortunetly I got it, and im not even a HL2 fanboy what-so-ever, and its not "the Best game ever"... i dont think any of the games that came out 2004 were "the best game ever" they were all moderatly good

I agree with that , hl2 is good , but not that good , it just got a lot of publicity , the textures are flat , the story is confusing , and the thing with the protection is ennoing. On the other hand , great gameplay , detailed textures , great athmosphere.

it aint too bad , it aint too great , its just another game , the best ever ? ... i doubt it....
