isn't Ghost Recon 2 supposed to tie in with the story in SC3?

I don't think so Slinky2397, isn't PS2 and Xbox's Ghost Recon 2 tied in together? http://www.ghostrecon.com/uk/ghostrecon2/ check both PS2 and Xbox storyline.
