Ok, Plain and simple, my video card sounds like a roaring chainsaw, and it overheats after playing a game for like 2 minutes, I've cleaned out the fan with Q-Tips, that didn't work, any ideas why it would be shaking my computer desk and rumbling the place up like a reggae song...

that happened to my 9600 pro a few months ago. Push the thing as hard as you can to make sure it is in the slot firmly. Also, when mine did that I would smack my old computer on the side and it would stop. I really never figured out the problem but it stopped eventually. Im thinking it has to do something with the connection.

I would recomend new cooling if you're willing to do it.
Would be quieter and more effective

Prolly because it died from you repeatadly hitting it Man, if i developed a fault like matey stated, i think the last thing i would do is hit the side of my system case!
Anyway, if the card is worth saving do as Kacperski and interman recommend
