The end of Spyware?

Media Player Classic and VLC are good enough for me. In fact i havn't seem any better ones out there.

Well this is the same with virusses and stuff,
you are always behind in this war...
Some day a new form of Spy-teahat will turn up and then comes a new program, and then comes a new Spy-bastard and so on and so on...

The war on spyware has been going on for a long time, I don't think Microsoft will do a better job at protecting your pc than let's say, Hitman Pro. And Hitman Pro is free. Microsoft just found out that there's money to be made on this!

Ok so someone tell me a trustworthy alternative to Microsoft? Its easier to bash high profile coporations like Microsoft than the smaller traders. like anyone there are aspects of the companies products that I hate aswell as those that are very good. It wouldnt matter who wrote the code for the operating system there will always be lowlifes looking at ways to exploit users, just to purely rely on a product to protect your personal and not use any kind of common sense when using the net is stupidity in itself. Hopefully if Microsoft due charge a fee for using this product then hopefully it will be much cheaper than the $30 or $40 prices charged by some companies. After all the beta is free so whats there to complain about?

imagin MS makes its own SpyWare...you would need to patch it in order to work.

Very good

spyware just the same few little programs that come with freebies, that install without asking you.
the net spy ware is giving by the biggest security hole in windows which is activex,

use proxomitron and you have no popups/iframes/installed apps,
if you have the config i made - tested on pron sites

A thrustworthy alternative to Microsoft? For anti spyware tools you really don't have to rely on microsoft, other companies undoubtebly do a much better job at producing anti spyware tools, tell me, why would I stop using AdAware, Spywareblaster or Spybot and pay for Microsofts tool? That would be crazy man. Microsoft will probably market it's tool as THE spyware remover and a must-have so that the masses will all buy it and they can make loads of money out of it. Because that's what they're good at, selling a product. Even though it isn't the best product, they can make everyone believe it is. I'm not falling for it now. (And I must ad, I have no problems whith Windows or anything, and I'm not a Linux geek, I'm just being realistic).
