The war on spyware has been going on for a long time, I don't think Microsoft will do a better job at protecting your pc than let's say, Hitman Pro. And Hitman Pro is free. Microsoft just found out that there's money to be made on this!

the anti-spyware is the same program as giant antispyware.guess microsoft bought them off and just made it there program.
