P2P for World of Warcraft?

so, yeah, some friend of mine said to me he had WOW subscribtion. i already was firmiliar with the WOW game-universe, so i thought to consider buying it too. then it struck me. i need to pay a monthly fee to play as long as i wish.

i, and im saying it really softly, ain't happy with this stupid rule. i can understand they need to uphold the servers, but with a monthly fee of around 15$ is an outrage, cuz i know i could keep a server up with the community only paying 5 to 7$, AND have a nice profit.

this just pushed me into not buying the game. im not to be sucked dry by these kapitalist pigs.

what do you guys think. :nxs:

almost every online game costs 15 bucks now

DAOC raised theres this year... but i dont really mind if they keep bringing new stuff :P

could you tell me, do you use a monthly payment via creditcard or do you buy these pre-paid ccards constantly?

I pay for WoW and it's worth it to me. If it's not worth it to you, then don't do it. It's my favorite game currently and I plan to play it for a loooong time. i love it.

i made up my mind. i think i will, altho with the pre-paid cards, so i will have a small influence on wether or not im gonna spend months gaming with this game.

last question: does WOW calculate fees in playtime or just a fixed month (i.e. 'you will be able to play from day X to day XX')

Yep, if there is a MMORPG worth â‚¬15 a mont it's surely WoW ... And I actualy didn't like Warcraft III...

I'll buy it, and I'll pay to play it - it deserves it... what can I say - you just have to see it for yourselves.
