IGI2 SP demo!

I'm afraid it's a bit dissapointing.

The graphics don't seem improved enough and the animations are poor. The guns have been changed but not neccesarily improved, and you can only carry one main weapon. The AI has been improved - they roll and duck in firefights, find bodies, search the area, are more sensitive to noise - but there are still glitches.

The demo is set at night. It's a very big level, and there are about 3 main ways to complete. The game's a lot more stealthy, and there's more to interactive with, and it is addictive. It shows promise, and is a lot of fun, but there are too many problems. Hopefully they will be fixed, the demo is supposed to be 90%.

Other issues include blood that looks like red paint, and not very good performance. The binocs no longer have a targetting, instead you have some useful but dodgy thermal goggles.

From the videos I've seen the demo isn't as good, so maybe they cut down on the graphics etc for a smaller download (135mb). I hope this is the case, because it's not what it was living up to be.

you will be disappointed! those idiots ppl there doesnt know how to make a zip!! bhhaaa... they screwed up the zip ! the zip is corrupt!

Are u using a download manager that split file into x section?

try "internet download manager", set the split files to 8, and the connesction to 56 kb.

2 of the servers have a corrupt file i dont remember which server... but the others are good... anyway nice game i wasnt much exciting from it... pretty ordinary game it reminds me the latest james bond game...

I gave the demo a try earlier today.. It does have the IGI feeling that some of us know. However, I wasn't incredibly impressed with the graphics in the current state. The animations, texturing and modeling was overall nice. Some of the water reflections and shadowing effects were nice though, but I still think this game would benefit a whole lot from for instance Cg made shaders.
