you are a freaking idiot if you think ut2k4 ruined UT. UT2K4 was easily as good as ut99 in every aspect and the community was fantastic for the most part. On the other hand Unreal 2 was terrible, and UT2K3 was also terrible, so I think they should just can UT3 and release this new UT sooner...

i agree with you. ut04 rocked, and still rocks today. 03 brought some very nice things to the table too, such as being the best looking multiplayer fps at the time.

Flak-cannon rocks!! And I saw many thing that sucked! They've removed Genmo'kai(Or how it is spelled) and they removed As but the conquest may be just as funny. But the worst thing is that they probably won't call it UT :rant: THAT SUCKS BIGTIME!! :rant:

How was Unreal 2 terrible. It had good enviroment, great guns, ok missions. Comparing it to Doom 3 its the teahat. I thought the next Unreal would be the game that starts with a P, forgot the name.

The problem I see with the UT franchise is that there is very little scope for originality amongst its sequals...

For me, the vehicle support in UT2k4 only ruined what was at best an average MP/MP-Team FPS. To improve what is IMHO a lack-lustre multi-player experience the developer should not be just relying on the expectancy/popularity of the new 'uber-tech' rendering capabilities of SM3.0,etc...

I want and demand original gameplay! Something above and beyond the norm! I supported this franchise long enough...
