My dad just bought the Sims 2 and installed it onto his computer, but his computer's vidio blows so he needs to get a new vidio card and he let me borrow his game, untill he got one, and I tried instaling it onto my computer which easily meets the system requirments but on the 3rd sandpapering cd it says theres a problem transfering the globalcatbin.bundle.package, it wont let me bypass it, it gives me the option of retrying, and everytime I did, it would go 1% further than give me the error again, I tried retrying untill it got to 100% and nothing changed, I went to the Sims 2 Official Website, to try and find an answer, they had a few good ideas that I tried but non of them worked, and ontop of that I was gonna post my problem up there but I had to get registered so I tried that, but the site is too damn sandpapering hard to figure out, they give me a list of gaming platforms and to choose one and pick a game to regester but none of the games I have, exept a ps2 game, which when I was gonna regester it, they wanted a sandpapering Cd key, since when do they make Ps2 games have Cd keys, so I gave up on that idea and came here hoping to get some sandpapering answers, and I also tried copying the game files from the cd straight to my Harddrive and it would'nt copy all the files, so what the sandpaper am I gonna do?? I have no idea and it's been pissing me off, if you have'nt noticed yet

 Join the Anti-EA crew.

Try it on a new CDRom (different)

Return game and get another copy of it.

Try downloading it (LEGAL! He bought it, so it is) and install that way.

If all these fail before doing #3, do #3 and try it... if it fails, Format and/or leave Sims 2 in the dust =/ EA has bad tech support.
