I voted none and I won't get one either. Consoles may have som fun games but the graphics and the games get outdated so fast so I'll stay with my PC.

Looks nice, everyone just still wondering whether its ingame or cgi/pre-rendered. Well, the ingame-stuff ive seen looks awesome. The unreal3 engine really shows what it can do on the ps3. And im not talking about the u3/ut2k7 game itself. The best games are coming to ps3, as always. It will surely win. Chip in, grab controller, PLAY! Xbox360 What The sandpaper? Again the same discussion as previously mentioned, but there were lots of games shown INGAME on xbox360. Its nice to see what its gonna look like. But...the demos that were shown, were graphically SUCKING DONKEY ARSE, as the PC already NOW can perform better stuff. The games look like crap, again some weird teahat. And the online function...ok it works. But there are so many functions that are not even needed! I dont want a console that can cook or shave me, I want a friggin game machine, that i can just plug in and PLAY! As always, MS fills the project with money. And actually kinda destroys the show. They even hired audience to cheer at their crappiest game at their press conference. Come on, half of the audience were girls. WHATS THE CHANCE?! ITS E3!! But wait...the xbox360 is playable on the show, in comparison to ps3. Yay, MS wins? NO! Well so what if the games were running on the powermac G5's, the games on the xbox 360 will look much better when they are actually working on the xbox 360. Im still staying by the x360, only because Microsoft never loses...

I voted Ps3.
The Big question in my head is (and in many heads) was the Killzone2 trailer prerendered or realtime with the Ps3 ? I say it could be prerendered, but it also could be realtime. I've watch the movie over and over, and it looks great no doubt. Then I looked at the signs of realtime. One thing I allways look at when looking if it is realtime or not is the use of motionblur, wich is SO hardware hard to do that prerendering could only produce that. I haven't noticed ANY motionblur. That's unfortunately the only clue I can find, since the second clue would be framerate. And since I can't see that from a movie that ALWAYS runs on 30 frames I cant tell. |
