I have two questions:

1. How the hell do I upload an avatar from 'my pictures'? It doesn't show me the URL required.

2. Do you know any places where you can download good quality games for free? I used to use limewire but too many viruses!

Well for your avatar upload you could use a nice hosting site like imageshack,

and since ur new you might wanna read the rules of these boards first ,

and no warez talk plz

Yea goto www.imageshack.us, browse to your pic, click 'host it', copy the provided link in the box 'direct link to image' and paste it into the avatar bit of your profile here. :thumbup:

And im afraid the only links to free games you'll get from here are those that are meant to be free! Other than that, welcome to Hell Dr Chrome!
