Future Gaming Ideas

They'd have to introduce some kinda reward system for teamwork in a game like that, cos like you said you'd need to be pretty 1337 to do it properly!

I cant wait till some of the next-gen games. The extra power means you'll be able to have it all. Im looking forward to games with that intense graphical immersion factor, with sprawling landscapes where you can see detail for miles and hear the leaves rustling on trees in the distance, or maybe have a city landscape with shiny skyscrapers all lit up perfectly by a low, orange setting sun (and HDR!). Its gonna be immense!

Yes, the SONY E3 presentation was nice but you should have realized that the
stuff that they say that they are playing in real time right there was a big fat lie.

I guess, but the numbers were impressive! Even if I didnt really understand what the heck a TFLOP was, it was 2!

A multiplayer mafia game, players all need a headset. There should be a lot of intriges, conspiracys etc between players.

TFLOP = TERA Floatingpoint
TFLOP has 10^12 operations per second

Aaahhh..... All it means to me is the promise of bitchass gaming in the near future!

Any other ideas for using all these 2*10^12 flops then? Fineliner, dont quite get your mafia idea?! :Oo:

Imagine a MMOFPS where you have 4 rival italian families in a large city. Each family has a hierarchy, a chain of command. Each role in a family is played by a different player: from the least powerfull members who do the dirty work, to the leaders (Don Corleone-style). The goal of the game is total domination of the city. Once in a while, the leaders meet up with their most trusted next of kin to set up goals for the comming weeks. Goals like, starting a war with another family or planning to kill their patriarch. But the players who are lower in rank can also call a meeting, planning to take over the power in their own family, thus climbing in rank.

5 quick mixes this round!

1. "City of Blood"
GTA + Tony Hawk. Skating the city, and doing a ollie into a cop's face, with blood flying everywhere! Imagine the possibilities! Online features even better!
Riding and shooting at the same time. In a large city, with no loading.

2. Duke Nukem 4ever - Again (The Expansion) Everything in game crappy, except real-time rendered chicks that strip for money, that you collect by shooting monsters.

3. MMORPG Alien Vs. Predator. No need to explain.

4. Rise of Nations vs. Savage - The Battle For Newerth . Exactly as Savage, just ron

Well, when football (refuse to say soccer) was invented (a few centurys ago I think) it was played with two groops of hundreds of people. The goals where miles apart, so you had a huge mob franticly raging through the streets of a city.

So the Idea is kinda old.
