Xbox 360 Givaway Winners

Ok cow, I'm still sad too I didn't win the 360, but Don't get emo you know? Amped 3 doesnt blow balls away.

Glad to see that spriggan is cool about it. Its nothing to get mad about guys, i honestly wouldnt if i did not win, its just a contest. Its not a scholarship or job opportunity.

Heres the last thing I'm gonna say...

Whoever the contest people were...the setup of the contest really sucked (have to have or know someone with a 360 and amped 3 to win it??), And it was really handled unprofessionally at the end (Not getting winners cause she was sick? How hard is it to look at a screen when you're sick lol ...When I had a mild case of the flu I stayed home on the puter all day) I sincerely hope GH doesn't do any more contests with them, not with a prize of this magnitude anyway.

GM, that was a completely incorrect statement

That was not an attack at monkey or GH as monkey did nothing but post the contest and find judges...it was at the people who supplied the contest with prizes. In no way am I insulting GH or Nxs, but I am slightly unhappy with whoever was the girl who did this.

No, you know what, I agree with GM.

Cow your doing nothing short of complaining, your just being a sore loser. Fycus got a higher score on the same run as you did, and if you read the thread it sure sounds like he put as much if not more effort into his than you did.

The contest was structured, Nxs found 2 judges (who I can only assume) were both fair and objective, he set a timetable (a whole month!), and by the looks of it did his best to make this fair for people, and he seems to have suceeded!

I don't think it was handled unprofessionally at all. Also, it was for the best run, which didn't neccearly mean best score, I think Fycus's run was cleaner, and looked a lot harder to pull off(he didn't slip up @ all!), don't be bitter, it seemed (to me at least) that it wasn't only a higher score, but a better run.

The only 2 complaints I had about this contest were the following:
1. In order to win a 360 a person needed to already have a 360 and a certain game. Yes in a month people(like fycus) could get their hands on a 360 and record a video, but it really a bit too exclusive in my opinion. I think the contest could have had more applicants if it applied to something like "best PC(or console) game clip between 2-5 minutes," or "best clip from a sports game" or something a bit more general.
2. I wasn't currently active on the forums and missed out on my chance to enter!

Anyways, good job to nxs, good tries by sprig and cow(although cow seemed a bit of a bad sport at the end), and of course congrats to Fycus for winning and making a cool clip.

EDIT: By the way I just noticed that Nxs added a cool(somewhat equalizing) provision to the contest "Edit: You may now enter actuall footage of you snowboarding." so.. cool!
