Dead Rising Giveaway!!

If by a zombie bite a man dies,
it can be expected that he'll later arise,
and not taking precautions could be quite unwise

it may be believed that the dead will stay dead,
but being short-sighted will lead to sorrow instead,
so find a blunt object and aim for the head

there are other precautions to keep you alive,
besides being ready when the undead revive,
and paying attention closely should help you survive

if one doesnt own the luxury of transport,
then its best to immediately set up a fort,
otherwise to the zombies, you'll be nothing but free sport

the first step of securing this castle of yours,
is to board up all the windows and doors,
but this isnt necessary for the upstairs floors

next, turn on your bath and let the water raise,
because water may become scarce in the upcoming days,
you have to think quick, because quick-thinking pays

the food which is perishable is the first you will eat,
save all your canned food until you run out of meat,
rationing your food will save you from otherwise certain defeat

for those of you which live in homes of more than one story,
set your supplies upstairs and set an axe to the stairs in a hurry,
being out of reach from the zombies will keep things from getting gory

for a close-quarters weapon, you should choose one which doesnt use ammunition,
a melee weapon like an axe or a crowbar, something that can withstand repetition,
you cant depend on limited bullets, against an army of decomposition

the benefit of a silent weapon is that you can stay out of sight,
which helps you in avoiding an unnecessary fight,
because remember: There is no cure for a Zombie's bite

although they make lots of noise, theres definately still use for a gun,
a uzi or a rifle, will definately get the job done,
however, a shotgun is a need, if you see yourself becoming overrun

if you find yourself outside your fort, try your best to move around silently,
doing something uncautiously can end quite violtently,
when patrolling or scouting be sure to tread gentlly

apply these ideas if ever you come across these undead hordes,
it would do you well to remember my words,
because staying alive has its own rewards.

Two days left DR poets!

It's been a while, I've been gone.
But that's not true! I've been here all along.
Where've I been? well I gotta say,
I've been a zombie up untill this very day!

Wake up in the morning, type in my password
Play for hours on end Oh! it was absurd.
I poured hundreds of dollars into it, and Blizzard laughed
because I had become addicted to their game, World of Warcraft.

Those cunning developers with all their content
Turned me into a zombie with level 60 as my intent
Raiding all those dungeons, killing all those allies!
Must loot some epics no matter how many tries!

But i've kicked the habit, I've righted my ways
and now i'd like this chance to rephrase:
With GH's help and a little support,
I'd love you to introduce me to some zombies of a different sort.

In search for a story of a lifetime
Flying over a mall and what do i find.

Zombies everywhere, to and fro
even one sucking a big toe!

We find a place to set down
And i decide to look around.

In search for answers
I don't have long.

finding myself stuck with nothing to use
Maybe i can use these garden tools!

I must look all around
I must look up and down
to find the source of the problem.

Im not very creative when it comes to this sorta stuff but there yah have it! =/
