As far as I know, 6400 can run along 8500 fine as long as your mobo supports 8500 in the first place. However, the 8500 will be clocked down automatic to meet the 6400 standards so you won't be able to use the extra mhz. Still, you could always upgrade your older pair to match the Crucial.

There are alway times when things don't work as they should.
But I know for a fact that Nxs will always make good. I know
of one time when "Customs" wouldn't allow a winner to get
his prize and Nxs and myself worked out a deal to get that member
a prize of equal value. It wasn't as advertised but it was FREE

Nice contest..I'm in. A set of these would do well to move my butt to upgrade to AM2 or *gasp* Intel (that is, must convince the wife first lol )

I'm so in this contest... I've been looking into buying 2GBs of RAM to replace my current 2x 512MB sticks I'm using now to help run Vista better, and then I see this little diddy...

I'm still kind of sore I didn't notice the Wii/Harry Potter contest until the day after it ended too.

The thing is i'm not the only person who hasn't received the prize from that contest,there are others too.
