Actually.... and I discovered this completely by accident... A day or so ago (when I was taking a Max Payne 2 break), I went round a friends house. He always has his Amiga set up, because he's retro-minded like that. He has a game called A.P.B. and he got a level select by pressing fire + up at some point or other... Now, I'm not saying this was the first cheat ever, but it's before SMB, isn't it?

There's a littler known glitch for SMB for NES: 1. Insert SMB and turn the system on. 2. Play for about a minute or so. 3. Take SMB out but don't turn the system off. 4. Insert tennis and push reset. 5. Play for about a minute or so. 6. Take out tennis but don't turn the system off. 7. Insert SMB and push reset. 8. Start playing, and you'll be transported to a random level. Sometimes it's a normal level, sometimes it's a randomly made level like Z-3 or sometimes its a glitchy level with jarbled pictures in the place of the stage-level display. these glitchy level are sometimes very funny, and one time my friend played a glitchy level that went on forever. Pretty cool, huh?

actually amiga was never released in the US, or atleast I have never seen one over here, and if you haden't noticed different continents have different versions of games, what I play over here is slightly different from what you play in england, and from when others play in asia, europe alone has multiple versions due to different languages. Its been like that for a long time, the sega master system had a trick that if you turn the system on without a game in, and hold right when the screen would shift and a maze game would pop up that you could play, but that asian version of the master system diden't have that option. Atari was the first system released world wide, and to this day I have not found any codes, and I own all the Atari system types, and every game I can find.

On Commodore16 were some games with cheats....sort of...they are more like glitches that kept accuring in some of games.....does this count babe
:dennis: Of course it could be that i screwed my system up and thats why things happen (immortality and such).

I Think Its more that Space shooter game of the Ness , Forgot it , Raiden or something , But the Code was Up,Up Down Down Left right left right , L Button R Button Select Start , it would give u all the powerups, Shield, Level 5 weapon or something , homing missiles napalm bombs and unlimited Bombs (Full screen Killing).
