and eh, Micky Mouse was originally supposed to be called... oh god its some really stupid M name like Martin or something. martin mouse... hmmmm mort? I dunno it's been a long time. And the other ones I have no idea... except for "buttwipe during the 1890s".... rag?

Your joking right? I searched and searched for those answers. I got them from reliable geeky sources m8!

3). Sears Catalogue? Nope, definetly Gayetty's medicated paper. Catalogue pages were used before the widespread acceptance of toilet-paper, which was way before 1890, more like 1860-1870's. Toilet paper was actually invented in 1857, by Joseph Gayetty.

4). Is definetly not the Romans as it was ye old locals in Medieval England who would cross their fingers when passing someone they suspected of being a witch. Think Monty Python and The Holy Grail and you'll be along the right lines. Proof Right Here: http://ask.yahoo.com/ask/20021017.html
