quick Overclocking questions

I overclock my cpu ram and video card... well not my video card any more because i saw little boost and didnt like the heat,
anyway, i read Tuts on overclocking amd 64's and they always talk about multipliers, my BIOS has no mention of these.
it ha s"dynamic overclocking" which has like 5 settings that are in percentages 1, 2, 5, 7 and 10%
mines always at 7%, and i also set the FSB from 200 to 215,
first off, i hear amd 64's with Hyper transport are like 1600FSB... and mine is 200... wierd right? the retail box says "hyper transport" its socket 754, 90nm process, 2.0ghz 3000+
i also have kingston value ram pc3200 cl 3-3-3 which i overclock the voltage to 2.80 and the timings to 2.5-2-2-7, also i lowered it to pc2700, DDR333
where is the multiplier on my CPU?
and i picked random numbers on the ram but i saw a blazing performance boost in half life 2, O S loading, and general performance, and so far no errors

i use speedfan, after long hard CS sourcing my videocard is at peaks of 51Celcius and CPU peaks at 48Celcius, are these dangerous numbers?

please explain the cpu's FSB being soo low, the ram timings (in brief), the missing multipliers on my CPU, and the termperatures

Hypertransport
This new technology provides the lowest possible latency. It connects buses point-to-point and undirectional.
The said 1600mhz Bus-Speed is virtual and not physical. To this date, all AMD64 processors have a FSB of
200 MHZ. This usually doubles to 400 MHZ because of DDR Bus. Think of Hypertransport as a technology which
optimizes the bus from the CPU to the Mainboard and kinda quadriples its efficiency. That's why they claim
it's 1600 MHZ FSB. Bottom line: Your mainboard-BIOS shows you the effective physical FBS which is 200.
By setting it to 215, it's 430 MHZ DRR. You could download Everest Home Edition to see the real speed.

Multipliers
The multiplier is usually a simple number. This number multiplies the FSB (hence the name). That's for example: FSB 200, Multiplier 10 = 200*10 = 2000 MHZ.
That's the real COU clock you get then. In your case that would be 215*10 which results in a corespeed of 2150 MHZ. It is possible though, that your MSI-BIOS
doesn't provide an option to change it. Look through the whole BIOS again to be sure. I know ASUS boards have this option. So it's not a missing multiplier of
your CPU but rather a missing option in your BIOS.

Temperatures
Both 51°C for your videocard and 48°C for your CPU is OK. CPU shouldn't go higher than 65°C though for a longer time. Videocards are a bit different,
they can peak up to 80°C, but I wouldn't reccomend it.
