having been informed by some forumotronites here at GH to buy an nvidia 6600GT im wondering which one

my friend told me that in the 128mb cards they use better graphics chip thingys :Oo: (news to me)
and that i wouldnt really need a 256 one(games ever really that good)
so what do you think
i know im buying one but i dont know whether to spend the extra £100 on a 256

i thank anyone who replies (lol damn you if no-one does

The 256Mb can be overclocked to Ultra standards, but i don't think the 128Mb one can ;) :thumbup:

Don't the 128Mb versions have the slower 128-bit bus, whereas the 256Mb cards have 256-bit?

go with the 6600gt, none of the 6600's have a 256 bit interface. So What i would go for is the 6600gt instead of the 6600 because then you will have performance.
