The best advice is to wait and see how ATI r520 compares to nvidia's offering at that time then make your choice accordingly.

imo i reckon nvidia might have a lil trick up their sleeve called the 7800 ultra-x to try ruin r520 launch.
Maybe the 7800gtx is a kinda smoke screen/call my bluff to ATI before NV unleash their true next gen card?
Lets wait and see what happens before starting any ATI vs NV fanboyism

get the r530 CrossFire and a r530 CrossFire Ready card

I can't reccomend the 7800 series. They have really bad imagequality resulting in texture flickering and ugly egdes. It's even worse than the 6800 series (even in high quality which infact is not high quality).

what are you smoking man? the 7800 looks amazing, here is a doom3 screen running on the BFG 7800gtx taken by my brother.

It looks like you only have 1 hard drive, that motherboard supports sata and raid. get a couple identical sata hd's and raid em. Kingston memory is kinda blah...

yeah well I guess they're newest driver fixes any problems, cause my screen shot clearly looks amazing!! not just in doom3 either, BF2, HL2, etc...look mint as well.

What do I need extra Hd's for? I keep all my personal stuff (writing etc..) on my comp, flash drive and on cd/dvd.
Yes.. I store sensitive materiels in quadruplicate! The 80 GB HD is good enough. If I don't play a game for a while, I uninstall it.

The main thing I want is a new GFX Card.. so the best version of the 7800 is most liklely what i'll go with in October.

i bet you will go on with that card for a while yes, but i think i need to go with the others on this. BOTH NV and ATI (come on, when you think Micro$oft won't go with the others, your dumb and definately don't know M$ that well!) will be releasing top-notch cards, with all quadruple abilities... i mean all the figures look higher (even the price...d'oh!) but you seem to have a well-paying grocery store...
