I run:

(all PCI-Express)
Mobo: ASUS P5GD1
Ram: 2 512 Kingston
CPU: Pentium 3.0 Prescott
GFX: X700 PRO
SC: Soundblaster 24
Monitor: Samsung 17" LCD 8 ms refresh
HD: Maxtor 80gb

Did I miss anything?

It's an acceptable comp for now. I can run every FPS on 100+ frames/sec except BF2.
I want to upgrade my GFX card by October. I has to be below $800.

What should I get?
Is there anything else I should opgrade?

I can't reccomend the 7800 series. They have really bad imagequality resulting in texture flickering and ugly egdes. It's even worse than the 6800 series (even in high quality which infact is not high quality).

beware of ATI fanboys around here ruly, they'll say anything to make you go for ATI. Nvidia's 7800GTX is good enough i guess. i mean, under 800 dollars? dude, get yourself a Quadro.

fixes their problems?? WAHAHAHAHA! omfg, the prime reason i went from ATI to Nv is because ATI only made their drivers more nortoned up with the next release. i had MAJOR problems installing them, not to mention in-game.

i have a geforce 4 ti4200 in my old computer and damn, it runs NFSU2 and GTA SA like butter! i mean, i already saw my 9600XT loop and hitch in NFSU...

well me and my bro got problems with nfsu2 and he got a 6800gt and i got a 6800, freezes on 1.2 patch and 9600 pro played it fine, 6800 sucks in bf2 and 9600pro still didnt stutter in there, Nvidia has so many problems all they care bout is bringing the performance up and forgetting bout the problems they have like with the nforce3250gb chip and 6 seriies, having fsaa on in control panel and starting up windows media will mess up desktop, plus ati has the better image quality, and im sure of it.
