The New Dual-Core from AMD!

AMD will release their new Dual-core CPU in the second quartal of 2006, on their new M2 socket.

Socket M2 counts a number of 1207 pins (not entirely sure aboot this) and will open the doors for DDRII (finally).

There's a french city called Orleans. "New Orleans" was just that, the new Orleans from the frenchies.

Besides, AMD has City Names for codenames for a while now (Venice, San Diego, ..)

The AMD X2 4400+ and 4800+ Already have 2MB L2 Caches.... B) so the real update is added DDR2 Support, it'sa pretty darn time, teh added DDR2 Support :rant:
