Any of you guys ever try the tweaks that suppodely work? I think I saw it at the Nview forums.Since it is all about pixel shader performance, then the new 1900xtx is going to fly because of the 48 pixel shaders they have.

Woah..? my computer:
ati radeon 9700 pro amd athlon 2400+ 512mb ddr ram 200gb hard drive With this poor computer i run CoD2 at medium graphics with 8-20 fps, it only lags when its 1000 things going on at the same time but its np! Belive it or not! :Oo: __________________________________________________ __ Later on i upgraded my computer, and now it look like this: geforce 6800 GT pentium4 3200 2048mb ddr2 ram 200gb hard drive Now the game runs at full graphic with 40-80 fps, never any sign of lag at all! Heard that many of u guys here had problems runnng it and decided to post this (didnt mean to piss u off lol). Im not quite sure but i think this game is thirsty for ram and a clean computer with minimum spyware and other crap that swarms around on ur hard drive after a long time with no hardware cleaning etc! maybe im wrong but everyone knows that a clean computer with a lot of free space on hard drive etc etc runns anything better than a raped one! I build my computer my self and i havent done anything to powerup the cpu ore messed up the computers BIOS, mainbord or any other parts inside like many different companies does with the computers they deliver to the costumers! Oh, and i have something that makes Windows use less of ur computers power, not sure what its called or what it is but a friend of mine installed it on my computer! (Windows XP uses over 50% of ur computers power) i kind of understand why someone uses linux! :dennis: |

I have to ask my friend about that one! All i know about it is that it simply makes windows use less power and boost the preformance of everything that u run on the computer! I noticed that it makes the computer have more free ram at all times and the cpu seems to bearly use any of its power on windows. Kind of doping the computer up on drugs huh?
The pc boost thing wasent free tho, payed 10$ or something. I trusted my friend so i just payed with my visa card and let my friend do the rest. |
