If what u just ordered is a 6600GT PCI-E then ur screwed. whatever u do dont open the package or try to jam it into
ur motherboard, just send it back and ask for the AGP version of that card.

Why the hell didnt anyone tell this bloke about AGP/PCI-E?

I played through the game on my radeon 9000 w/ 64mb with no problems. 1024x768 and everything turned up in dx 9 mode. I think the only thing that wasn't on was shadows. It looked great and ran just fine. the biggest slowdown I experienced in the game was probably that level that was in the demo where the guy was kicking down the door and it gets shot by the gunner inside.

Seriously, if you are trying to spend 40-70 dollars on a videocard and expect good performance out of new games, you have something wrong with you.
I am currently running an x800GTO2, with 16pipes (555/615) and I think COD2 sucks on this card. But, if you want to get 400 dollar x850XTPE performance,
grab yourself a GTO2 at newegg or allstarshop for around 200 bucks, go on techpowerup, grab the new bios, flash it, and behold the beast.

Nvidia Geforce 6200 is sold at like 50 Not to mention u can practically play any game on it so its good.

How can a 6200 play almost anything? Maybe anything thats like 3 years old. My friend got a 6600 and the card sucks BAD. With everything on low and 800x600 he gets like 15fps in fear, and he has to play BF2 in 800x600 on low just to get 40fps. I cant even imagine what COD2 would be like.

well guys i ended getting an X800 GTO and what a difference textures are awesome. i used the CAtalyst 6.1 ,but getting some client exe 0x0113 window pop up when windows open on start up . anyone else getting that?
