256 mb gdr2 400mhz gpu 500mhz ram pcie its not for me its for someone who is upgrading from an integrated radeon x300 chipset will this play fear?? btw system specs 3700+ amd 64 1 gig ddr ram 200gig sata hdd

he is not looking for something that is the very top of the line just enough to play fear without the probs i have on my system 2800+ amd ath gforce fx 5200 512 ddr aka pos

It will play FEAR in PS2.0 mode, but only resolutions below 1024x768px. Its not an enthusiast board at all and isnt designed for bleeding edge pixel throughput, however it does meet the DirectX9.0C standard. Take a look at some results from 3DMark2005 over @ www.futuremark.com and see if there are any for the x550 GPU.
