I nearly laughed my ass off at this:
Dell XPS 600 Renegade
Dell partnered with nVidia to construct this
quad-gpu 4.26GHz ultra-uber gaming PC, that was being demonstrated at CES this week. The machine has 4, yes 4 7800 gpus, a factory overclocked Intel Extreme cpu, and 2 150Gig 10k Western Digital HDs in Raid0. Apparently the demo was running CoD2 at 2560x1600 resolution on Dell's new 30" ultra res HD-LCD TV.
My first thoughts were...."BAAHAHAHAHA!" And then..."it's a Dell.. with flames on it!" Seriously though, the only thing you can do with it is play CoD2 at an unnecessarily high resolution on Dell's own TV cos that's likely the only compatible one. Plus how much is this thing going to cost?? Billionaire Michael Dell himself says its going to be a lot. And to make things worse it's probably going to have Dell's crap intrusive and restrictive software on it, making it as good as a 486.
So hands up, who wants one?
