CALL OF DUTY OR VID CARD ISSUE

For some reason my Call of duty 2 gets streaks of lines and sometimes a wall of color out of nowhere . I have the latest driver 81.95 . altho COD 1 and counterstrike run perfect. it it because my setting are to high? or is my geforce 6600 0C too slow?
its only got 375 mhz core clock speed and i think the memory clock is 500 mhz. and is 128 bit. if its because its too slow or a driver issue than i might just get a radeon x800 GTO

my computer is a p4 2.0
1 gb of pc2700 ddr

how old is ur graphics card? it might be that

set your card to non-OC and try then...or try (if you oc over forceware) to use powerstrip to oc

try re-installing directX

of try re-installing the whole game...

Did you even check to see if the card was getting hot?

I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling and i get the same problems. I checked under Sandra Lite and under VGA compatible it says "NO" Im thinking I might have purchased an 8X video card for my 4x only mobo ill recheck but thanks for the tips , I got an X800 GTO on the way Im gonna be askin u guys how to unlock the 4 pipes if so and how to overclock.

You cant unlock extra pipes with the GTO, you need the GTO2. Although, I believe Connect3D makesa GTO you can unlock. So....

nah stick with a sapphire GTO2 :thumbup: every one is unlockable
