i think that arctic cooling nv 5 is better than zalman (for this card) , AC is better because memory has better cooling , i'm buyin AC maybe other week
zalman doesnt have that good cooling for memory....

I pulled down one passive cooler (on the right on graphic) and i didnt putt it back , because i cant put AC NV 5 on place ...

http://www.ocaholic.ch/pics/reviews/pnyver...vorderseite.jpg

is that passive important for cooling some chips on the right side of graphic card ?

what do you think ?

What PSU are you using?

I would suggest a minimum 600 Watt PSU for ANY Nvidia Card. They need a Nuclear Reactor to run...

Also, where is your PC located in the room? If its in a corner the airflow will not be great. Move the box into the room where its open. Try and have it at least 1.5m's from the wall.

Hope this helps...

i also have a 6800gt agp but i didn't pass 75°C. I'm am curently at 53°C which is a very cool temp considering, it isn't overclocked and it is the stock cooler.my temps record was in Far Cry(i had overclocked it at 400/1200)
