Thats dangerously HOT!, you could cook and egg on your graphics card... I reccomend Arctic Cooling for your card
http://www.arctic-cooling.com and for your card i reccomend this cooler: ![]() the link is right here for more information on it: http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vga2.php?idx=40 The site also gives you a place of where you can buy these this, as you cant buy it from them which i find to be wierd. Anyways i have a similar cooler for my card by the same company and my card idles about 29C to 31C so i think its worth the money. Should only cost you around $35-$43 American.

Above 75C is a bit hot, but shouldn't be anything to worry about. I'd advise you to clean your graphics card out (i.e. get rid of the dust in the heatsink). Also check that your heatsink is securely fastened to your graphics card
Are you seeing any artefacting in Quake 4? Try and read up on artefacting, I can't find a good link sorry I'm going to Croatia in a couple of months, Dubrovnik hopefully, looks like a very pretty place: D |

That is quite hot, but if you're having no problems in game there may not be a problem. But its worth getting the new heatsink, just follow the instructions on how to fit it and all will be well
i.e. don't fudge up the thermal compound!I'm from England |

I have MSI 6800gt 256mb, and those temperatures are pretty much same that i have.
when playing f.e.a.r., temp went up to 107C which is my personal record  , and with open case. those graphic card coolers don't cost too much so i ordered one - zalman fs-v7 should get it this week.. i haven't noticed any big problems in games while temps are up, slows down a bit. now 70C idle |
