Last time I looked on a map your countries were the size of our states. We( USA) have many more stores than you do. And if I am not mistaken shipping " over the pond" adds a little more to the costs.

We have way better deals than you do!

As far as the value of your money, well as you should know it goes up and down just like ours.

Just 1 example is a ECS NForce 3 + a RETAIL Siempron 2800 (skt 754) for $79 free shipping. Can you get a similar board and mobo for the same price?

Nope, I am not retarded.... I am a professional IT Support Specialist and system builder, with a degree in electronic engineering and computer science! I have over 10 years of experience as a performance and budget system builder, I have installed diverse networks for companies like Coca-Cola Schweppes, so I think I know a thing or two!

I wouldnt seriously boast about being able to buy a 2800 sempron processor, because they are crap, ECS are pretty god damn awful aswell. a 2GHz class CPU and an old NF3 motherboard are bound to be cheap. If you put your system against the one I specced, you will see they are World's apart in terms of featureset and future-proofability. The one you have provided struggles for FP mathmatics even before you add a graphics card and the overall specification of the CPU is abysmal. The guy wanted a PC that would be able to play some games on, not stare at a browser and work in M$ Office. The GTO is PS2.0 and to even consider buying one of these where the market is saturated in SM3.0 boards is complete madness...

... Anyway of enough of this, I only originally posted to help a friend out, not get into an arguement with people.
